They are cool to wear and breathe for increased hand comfort. Please note that the wear resistance of this glove is not in the coating but in the fabric itself. When the outside of the coating wears off, you are just getting into the usable life of the glove. Gloves are launderable - water wash with detergent in warm or cold water, line dry.
